How does the day counter accurately handle leap years and century rules?
The calculator adheres to standard Gregorian calendar specifications: a year is a leap year if it is divisible by 4, EXCEPT century years (ending in 00), which are only leap years if also divisible by 400 (e.g. 2000 was a leap year, but 1900 was not). This guarantees 100% mathematical date accuracy across centuries.
What is the difference between calendar days and business days?
Calendar days count every consecutive 24-hour period on the calendar. Business days (working days) exclude Saturdays and Sundays (standard 5-day work week) and can optionally omit official federal public holidays, which is essential for court filings, bank settlement periods (T+2), and contract delivery milestones.
Does the calculation include the starting and ending dates?
